Compassion Garden: A Teen-Led Community Garden 

Join us in the Compassion Garden, where teens can learn gardening basics, maintain garden beds, and give back to the community. This hands-on program will teach valuable skills like planting, tending to crops, and creating a sustainable green space. Teens will learn about different tools and safe gardening practices and work in teams to create a garden that helps feed needy people. Perfect for those interested in community service, gardening, or simply wanting to make a difference.

  • Program Overview
    • Goal: Establish a community garden to provide fresh produce to people in need.
    • Partners: ImPossible O.C.H Teen Club and Killeen Creators.
    • Objectives: Educate teens on gardening basics, construction of garden beds, teamwork, and community service.
  • Key Components
    • Garden Education: Basics of planting, watering, and soil health
    • Food Growth and Maintenance: Learning about seasonal plants, nurturing crops, and sustainable gardening practices.
    • Community Outreach: Helping those in need by providing access to fresh produce.
